A Kiss

When I kissed you goodbye this morning, love,
My lips started tingling and there was this
Sensation, so I ran to the mirror
And I noticed that both my lips were plump
Plumper, in fact, than they have ever been
So plump, that I ran 'round the house crying
"What is happening! What's is happening!"
And that's when Suzette pulled me aside and
Said, "Don't worry, it just means you're getting
DeLovely soon; so if you look like me
For a little while, well, it's not like there's
Anything wrong with that." And she was right.
