Please read the following (PC-only) download instructions:
We invite you to select your favorite Teddy Bear animations (or collect them all) and store them in a convenient place on your computer for later play.
Hint: On your desktop, create a folder called Animation Downloads; this way you can download and store the animations in one convenient place. Here's how: just right-click on any open space on your desktop and select New from the drop down menu shown at left. Then select "Folder". A New Folder will appear on your desktop prompting you to name it. We recommend naming the folder "Animation Downloads."
Now the fun part! When you click on any of the thumbnail pics above you will see the screen shown at left. Select Save.
You can, of course, select Run to preview the animation beforehand. However, you will need to repeat the above process to actually Save the animation file in your new "Animation Downloads" folder.
Next you will be shown a screen like the one at left. Simply navigate to the "Animation Downloads" folder you just created on your desktop.
Then simply save the selected file in that directory.
Now all you need to do is open your "Animation Downloads" folder and double-click on the saved file to watch the animation you want. All the graphics files are "executables" ready to run; they are free of viruses and malicious software. So, just sit back, and enjoy the wonderful 3-D Teddy Bear scenes in Venice.
To stop the animation at any time, simply press the ESC key. You will notice the "Smacker" logo at left for a few seconds. RAD Game Tools is the creator of Smacker (succeeded by the "Bink" software development tool) and is one of the premier video and computer game software development companies in the world.
A special note on the software used to create the Venetian scenes: Principal Artist and Animator was Guy Garrison, a true 3-D Guru who created the art using Softimage 3-D animation software. His eye for detail and work ethic were a critical part of all the animations you are about to enjoy. Guy is always up for a special challenge; he can be reached at guyg@guyg.com. Stephan J. Harper, Co-creator and Principal Content Provider of www.basilbaker.com was the Artistic Director for the animation project.
Lastly, you will note how realistic the Venetian canal waters look in the animations. There's a very good reason for that: we used the same water software that was used in the 1997 move Titanic!
